#2: Bullock would provide a meaningful veteran presence for young Cavs

Secondly, Bullock would provide a meaningful veteran presence for young Cavs, and just for the team to able to usually rely on for stretches in general.

The 30-year-old does not have a ton of postseason experience under his belt, but he did recently make a trip to the playoffs with the New York Knicks during this now-past season. Now, Bullock did not have the most productive postseason stretch of games against the Atlanta Hawks, who cruised by the Knicks in five games.

All things considered though, Bullock has seemingly been an exemplary teammate throughout his career in the league, and while he’s been a player that’s been dealt a number of times/bounced around, he is a proven commodity as a shooter and is a tough-minded player.

Defensively, he could feasibly help the Cavaliers too, and is typically a player that is competent against 2s and 3s, and as a help defender, is pretty reliable. He could aid the likes of Garland/Sexton, Okoro/Jarrett Allen, among others, given that, and he’s a smart player that has good off-ball feel on both ends of the floor, for the most part.

Anyway, while Bullock could potentially end up re-signing/looking to re-sign with the Knicks, and I’m not ruling out that possibility, he would be a solid target in upcoming free agency for the Cavs, who would be wise to pursue him.

I would still think they could at least be able to bring back Dean Wade with some of the MLE too, who even though he is set to be non-guaranteed for the next two seasons, would be a good player to keep around. The same could perhaps go for Lamar Stevens as well, albeit we’d have to see.

But circling back, it’s clear what the steady veteran in Bullock could provide for Cleveland, to reiterate.
