Cavs to watch in remaining games of this roadie: Taurean Prince

Taurean Prince is just 13 games into his Cleveland Cavaliers career and is already carving out a nice role for himself with the Wine and Gold.

Bickerstaff has stuck with rookie Isaac Okoro in the starting lineup, a move that’s been seemingly questioned by some Cavs fans, as Prince has shown to be the better offensive threat.

However, Okoro has held his own on the defensive end of the floor and shouldn’t be taken out of the starting lineup in favor of more offense. Prince is an excellent option off the bench, as he can pace the second unit with his offensive ability.

Prince is putting up 10.3 points per game so far for Cleveland and is one of the main three-point threats for the Cavaliers. Thus far, Prince is connecting on 44.6 percent of his shots from beyond the arc.

Due to their injuries, Cleveland lacks a true backup point guard, and their second unit overall takes quite a dip, especially in the scoring category. Prince’s role as the primary bucket-getter for the bench bunch is needed for the Cavaliers.

Anyhow, if Cleveland wants to keep up with these high-powered Western Conference offenses, they will need all the scoring they can get, and the final player featured next can get buckets.
