Three potential third scoring options for the Cavs next season

Cleveland Cavaliers potential third scoring option #1: Kevin Porter Jr.
As was noted earlier, Kevin Porter Jr. really knows how to score the basketball. What makes KPJ such a dangerous scoring threat is his versatility on offense.
Porter Jr. has three main methods through which his scoring takes place, the first being through isolation plays. Using his solid ball handling skills and strong footwork, KPJ is often able to shake his defender and create open lanes to drive or take pull-up jump shots. Porter Jr.’s ability to score unassisted is the most impressive and exciting facet of his game.
The second main scoring method of Porter Jr. lies in his ability as a cutter off-ball. Porter Jr. is a very strong athlete. He is quick, strong and looks as though he could jump out of the gym if he truly wanted to. His athleticism truly makes him a dangerous player in cutting scenarios, and the craziest thing about this factor of Kevin Porter Jr.’s game is the fact that his cutting will become even better as he matures in the NBA.
He will develop better vision for seeing holes in the defense and cutting lanes which will leave him open driving layups or thunderous dunks. Cutting is going to be an emphasis in Porter Jr.’s play as he continues to develop in the league.
The third main point from which Kevin Porter Jr. scores the basketball is on spot-up shooting attempts. Kevin Porter Jr. was one of the better spot-up shooters for the Cavaliers during this last season. On spot-up attempts, KPJ shot 42.9% this past season, per Synergy Sports.
When asked to catch and shoot, Porter Jr. often delivered, and being able to score off-ball is vital to being a third option. If Collin Sexton drives to the hoop and defenders collapse around him, he can trust that kicking out to Kevin Porter Jr. is a good decision.
Porter Jr. has the potential to develop into a great scorer. And if that pace is accelerated, he may even be the Cavaliers third scoring option this next season.
