Bold prediction #1 for Nance for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2020-21: He shoots 38.0 percent from downtown

Nance has again taken real strides in the last two seasons for the Cavs from beyond the arc.

More from King James Gospel

When you consider how Nance is such a good screener, passing big and is a constant lob threat for the likes of Darius Garland and feasibly Kevin Porter Jr., that perimeter J for him makes him all the more a crucial player for Cleveland.

Along with that, in his last 25 games, Nance hit 37.0 percent of his 2.9 three-point attempts per game, per Basketball Reference.

That said, my first bold prediction for Nance would still seem a bit rich for likely a season’s span.

If Nance can keep making strides as a spot-up threat from deep in 2020-21, though, and meet this first bold prediction of hitting 38.0 percent from beyond the arc, that’d be really impressive.

On nearly three triple attempts per game, seemingly, and for a whole season, that would be very notable from Nance.

It’s somewhat attainable with how he’s progressed, but it does a bit lofty. Either way, with Nance’s improved handle and his secondary playmaking, he still aids Cleveland’s team offense in a variety of ways outside of spot-ups.

So what’s the second bold prediction for Nance, then?

That relates to his secondary playmaking.
