Here, we’ll suggest two bold predictions for Cleveland Cavaliers big Kevin Love for the 2020-21 campaign.

Kevin Love is the only player remaining of the “Big 3” the team had during LeBron James’ second stint with the team, of which consisted of James, Love and then-Kyrie Irving. Along with this, Love is one of just three Cleveland Cavaliers players, with the other two being the expiring Tristan Thompson and Matthew Dellavedova, that were members of the 2016 championship team.

Thompson, in particular, would seem to have a very high possibility of signing elsewhere as well. Plus, with the Cavs’ 2019-20 campaign now officially over, according to recent reports from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, of which you can view here and also here, Love might be the last 2016 player left.

With that being the case, Love will be counted on in the upcoming season to further mold and mentor the young players that the Cavaliers have acquired. That feasibly would include Cleveland’s likely top five 2020 NBA Draft selection.

All of these responsibilities will make the 2020-2021 season a make-or-break year for Love, and here, we’ll suggest two bold predictions for him for the Cleveland Cavaliers for then.

It could be the beginning of his regression as a player or a career resurgence, and we’ll have to wait and see in regards to that for Love.

In terms of the first bold prediction for him, this will have to do with his glass cleaning acumen.

Love is still one of the game’s best rebounders, but this bold prediction would ultimately feature him taking his rebounding to another level, as was the case earlier in his career.

He had 9.8 rebounds per game in 2019-20, but him accomplishing this next suggested feat would again, a different animal.
