Cavs: 3 goals for Cedi Osman for post-All-Star break

Post-All-Star break goal #2: Shoot 40.0 percent from deep
What has been a near-constant throughout this season for Osman has been his three-point shooting. Naturally, as I say that, Osman had a dud on Wednesday against the Hawks, as he shot one-of-seven from deep and had three points, per ESPN.

It’s not like that sort of thing has happened regularly, though. On the season, as was previously mentioned, Osman has hit 38.2 percent of his deep balls. That’s a higher clip than in his previous two seasons, and it’s clear that Osman is shooting the three ball with confidence.
That’s led to some easy cutting baskets from deliveries from Love, Garland, and/or Nance, too.
So, to me, a realistic goal for post-All-Star break for Osman is for him aiming to hit 40.0 percent from deep.
Considering that Drummond’s presence should open up more room for Osman and other Cavs’ perimeter players, this clip seems feasible. Again, I know had an awful outing from there against the Hawks and has been off this month, but the vast majority of this year, he’s been consistent from there.
Reaching that goal would also mean that Cedi is maximizing on his catch-and-shoot chances. Doing so should enable an instinctive cutter in Osman to get more chances near the rim off of movement and/or defenders closing out too hard to spot-ups.
The third post-All-Star break goal for the 24-year-old wing for the Cleveland Cavaliers relates to the other end of the floor, (well it was one goal, to me).
