Henson’s been a bright spot for Cleveland this season

Though his trade value won’t be massive, he has been very active on the interior on both ends of the floor when he has played for the Cavaliers this season and was on the Bucks, so I wouldn’t find it outrageous to forecast Cleveland potentially getting a younger replacement for Henson or Henson could feasibly be a piece involved in another three-team deal.

From there, I’d imagine Cleveland Cavaliers general manager Koby Altman would be looking to maybe acquire a productive or solid rotational wing or big with a contract in the range of realistically Henson’s and one that would have them signed through at least 2020-21, feasibly paired with a future second-round pick.

Anyway, Henson has been again, productive in his minutes on the floor for Cleveland this season.

Though Henson has only played 13.2 minutes per game in his 20 appearances, he is again, leading Cleveland in blocks per game, and Henson has really been the only legitimate rim protector Cleveland has for much of the year.

Contenders I’m sure recognize that, and Henson has a career clip of 1.5 blocks in 19.8 minutes per contest, according to Basketball Reference.

He has otherworldly 7-foot-6 length despite being just 6-foot-9, and again, with his great timing as a rotator near the basket, Henson could be a valuable reserve piece for a contender.

He has postseason experience, too, and is seemingly an exemplary teammate. Henson is also a low maintenance type of player that is going to set quality screens both on and off-ball, and that’s enabled pieces such as Darius Garland, Brandon Knight, Kevin Porter Jr. and Matthew Dellavedova to get to favorable spots.

That undoubtedly contributes to winning.
