#12 – Charlotte Hornets

Record – 6-11

Current streak – lost 4

A surprising start to the season appears to be on the verge of turning into a season where losses pile up. The Hornets big signing of Terry Rozier hasn’t been worth the money to this point and he is being outplayed by backup point guard Devonte Graham to this point in the season.

It’s pretty remarkable that Charlotte has found a way to win six games on the season as they have a -7.4 point-per-game differential according to ESPN. Expect Charlotte to continue to slide down the conference power rankings. They are 2-8 over their previous 10 games.

#11 – Detroit Pistons

Record – 5-11

Current streak – lost 1

A big part of the Detroit Pistons’ slow start to this season is all of the injuries they had at the start of the season. Blake Griffin has only played in four games according to Basketball-Reference and point guard Reggie Jackson has only played in two games. Expect Detroit to start shooting up the rankings once they start getting healthy.

Andre Drummond has been one of the best big men in the NBA to this point of the season and he should continue his stellar play. To this point in the season, the Pistons have a -3.4 point-per-game differential according to ESPN and they are 3-7 over their previous 10 games.

#10 – Chicago Bulls

Record – 6-11

Current streak – won 1

The drama surrounding the Chicago Bulls is currently at an all-time high. Ultra-athletic wing Zach LaVine recently commented on how he can’t trust Bulls head coach Jim Boylan because Boylan doesn’t trust him after LaVine was benched in a recent game where the Bulls fell in a 13-0 hole.

Things could be on the verge of flying off of the rails in Chicago and this isn’t the first time it’s been rumored that Boylan isn’t well-liked by players.

The Bulls currently hold a -2.6 point-per-game differential per ESPN and have a 4-6 record over their previous 10 games.
