The Cleveland Cavaliers should have a ton of movement in their offense this season under head coach John Beilein, and three players stand out as the team’s most productive cutters in the 2019-20 season.

If the preseason is any indication of what is to come for the Cleveland Cavaliers this upcoming season, the team likely appears to be at the start of yet another poor season record-wise. The team went 1-3 in the preseason and the lone win came against Argentinian team San Lorenzo de Almagro.

The Cavaliers struggled mightily in the two games against the Boston Celtics and this has put a serious damper on the already-relatively low expectations headed into the 2019-20 season.

Head coach John Beilein clearly has an immensely tough task in front of him in turning this team around, yet has some unique players and personnel to do so.

The team’s largest issues this past season and this preseason have been on the defensive end of the floor and until this changes, the record will likely reflect relatively poorly. This Cavaliers team is still going to be interesting to watch on the offensive end, though.

Beilein’s system is one that utilizes constant motion, intelligent and precise cutting, and a solid barrage of three-point shots, as you could see in preseason, where Cleveland shot 37.8 three-pointers per game (per NBA.com), which was ninth in the NBA in preseason action.

This system has been considered very NBA-friendly and has led to the quick development of many NBA players like former Cavalier Nik Stauskas, current Dallas Maverick, Tim Hardaway Jr., and current Brooklyn Net, Caris LeVert.

The Cavaliers are likely hoping Beilein and his system will do wonders for the young talent on this team this upcoming season development-wise, and there is definitely fair reason to believe it very well will.

This all kept in mind, let’s take a look at the three likely best cutters for the Cleveland Cavaliers this upcoming season and start with a fun one.
