24. Justin Jackson – Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks, if healthy, have a chance to make a little noise in the Western Conference this season.

They will be fighting for that final playoff spot, especially if Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis are healthy and playing to the best of their abilities.

Justin Jackson will be a key role player for them. He will be sharing the wing with projected starter Tim Hardaway Jr., who can fill it up. Jackson will be a key, along with projected point guard starter Delon Wright, defensively.

If Jackson and his length can make it difficult on the opposing teams best offensive player every night, the Mavericks will have a chance to win every game they play. They have the firepower with Doncic, Porizingis, and Hardaway, it will be how they respond on defense that will measure whether their season will be a success or not, and Jackson will be a big piece of that.

23. Kevin Knox – New York Knicks

The way last season progressed for Kevin Knox, Knicks’ fans were dreaming of titles. Once the calendar started closing in on 2020, Knox started getting hot, as the temperature started getting colder.

Knox had a 16 game stretch from the middle of December to the middle of January where he averaged nearly 18 points per game. However, as is the case with most rookies, inconsistent play hampered him for the remainder of the season.

The Knicks front office and fans are pinning their hopes on a breakout year from Knox this season to help get the Knicks in contention for the playoffs.

22. Kent Bazemore – Portland Trail Blazers

Kent Bazemore has been a solid rotational player for the last couple of years in the NBA. He was a vital defensive presence on some really good Atlanta Hawks teams that unfortunately for them ran into some really good Cleveland Cavalier teams.

The Portland Trail Blazers may have found a vital piece in pushing them closer to an NBA title. They made it all the way to the Western Conference Finals last season where they were knocked out by the Golden State Warriors.

Bazemore will have a clearly defined role in Portland as a spot-up shooter, cutter, and number one defensive player. Bazemore is a solid three-point shooter and has knocked in 35.2% of his career attempts according to Basketball-Reference.
