LeBron James surpassed Michael Jordan for fourth all-time in scoring on Wednesday in the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss to the Denver Nuggets. After learning of him accomplishing that feat, two of James’ former Cleveland Cavaliers teammates, Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye, made it a point to congratulate James on his accomplishment in their own way.

Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye have made their way to the top of many Cleveland Cavaliers fans’ favorite players list. The duo was in Cleveland for two seasons together but made their presence felt, being very lighthearted while in the midst of NBA Finals runs and making the experience enjoyable for everyone involved.

Of course, they also launched the “Road Trippin’ Podcast” while in Northeast Ohio, which seems to be a smashing hit.

Spending time with LeBron James while in Cleveland, the two had to make it known that they were proud of James for passing Michael Jordan for fourth all-time in scoring on Wednesday night.

However, they did it in a way that only they could, which made it notable (video courtesy of ESPN’s Ian Begley).

On a night where nearly everyone paid respect to James for an incredible accomplishment, it was only right that Frye and Jefferson created a funny moment to help remember the feat. It was moments like yesterday that make Cleveland Cavaliers fans miss the LeBron-era and the four-straight NBA Finals runs the team embarked on.

With Jefferson already retired and Frye, whose laid-back personality has already made him a Cleveland favorite, making it known that this will be his final season this past week, one wonders how many more memories the partners-in-crime will have, at least captured on video.

It’s safe to have the argument that they are two of the more personable players to come into the NBA.

Thankfully, we still have the podcast and surely some cameos from both Jefferson and Frye in the near future.
