Tristan Thompson continues to carry the Cavs.

Thompson continues his remarkable comeback season with another dominating performance. Thompson looked defeated last season as injuries began to take their toll on him. It didn’t look like he’d ever be the same player again. This year has been a complete 180 for Thompson as he’s been the Cavs’ best player. He is putting together the best season he’s ever had while being a leader for this team on and off the floor.

While Burks hit the game-winning shot, it was Thompson who closed the game out for the Cavs. Thompson had a huge putback dunk in the final minute to steal the momentum back away from Brooklyn to give the Cavs a four-point lead. He then followed that up by locking up Spencer Dinwiddie on the final play of the game and forced him to take a heavily-contested three that he ended up airballing.

Everything in the Cavs organization has been chaotic in the last six months. There’s been a lot of changeover and turmoil behind the scenes. The only constant through everything has been Tristan Thompson. He’s brought it every night on both ends of the floor no matter what else is going on with this team.
