Five players could be standouts for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2019 NBA Draft.

I used to hate these types of articles, I really did. But then I started watching mixtapes at 1:30 in the morning and had an epiphany: the 2019 NBA draft class is absolutely loaded. If the Cleveland Cavaliers are fortunate enough to keep their draft pick (it’s 1-10 protected), they could be getting a star.

Within a season or two, this franchise will get back on its feet and, as Quenton Albertie wrote on Wednesday, The Land’s fans should be stoked for this upcoming season.

Free agency is often unpredictable but drafting… drafting is another game. Selecting a franchise player is something that each general manager dreams of doing, giving the fans another reason to watch their favorite team.

These are five players who the Cavaliers should target in next year’s draft.
