Predicting the Cavs’ record against divisional rivals
By Doug Patrick
Overall…
If all went according to my predictions, the Cavs would go 6-10 in the division. For reference, that was how well the Milwaukee Bucks did last season. They ended with a 44-38 record and the seventh seed.
This type of result to a 2018-19 Cavalier campaign would be wonderful and may be the highest expectation that one could still view as realistic.
One thing’s for sure, the 16 games the Cavs play in the Central Division will be difficult. I don’t see the Cavs as a clear-cut favorite over any of the teams in it.
But hey, these even matchups, especially if the Cavs can come out on top more often than not, could make for an exciting regular season
