While co-host Joe Brett is in Europe, I am joined by site co-expert Nathan Beighle on the latest episode of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ podcast King James Gossip.

We discuss potential starting lineups for the Cleveland Cavaliers this upcoming season, the development of key young players, and the new identity this Cleveland team could have. Later in the episode, we rank the East’s top teams, and you won’t want to miss where we’ve placed them.

The episode runs for roughly an hour. Here’s a rundown of the show:

  • Nathan and Doug talk what kind of lineups would work best for this Cavs team.
    • Do you start Hill?
    • What about Nance vs. Thompson?
    • When do you get Collin Sexton in there?
  • Then, they shift into how the young pieces on the roster could develop, and what this could mean for the type of looks this Cleveland team can give.
    • Can Nwaba turn into something special? Will his defense ever be important enough to make him a starter?
    • Is Nance trending towards a Julius Randle/Blake Griffin-lite type player?
    • Next, they discuss the new identity this Cavs team could have as a blue-collar, defense-heavy squad.
    • Finally, they rank the East’s best teams and talk out their discrepancies.
      • Where do you have Philadelphia?
      • What about the Pistons?
      • Will the Wizards be good? Or, will they simply self-destruct?
      • There’s quite a bit packed into this episode. That said, if you have anything you want to add or want to comment, make sure you check the KJG socials in the next few days for a place to comment with other listeners.

As always, we appreciate your listenership!
