The Cleveland Cavaliers have had one wild offseason, and with all that’s going on, let’s take a quick review and grade each offseason move.

One of the most devastating offseason’s in recent history, the Cleveland Cavaliers rebuilt well and will be looking to continue to be a playoff contender this upcoming season.

They lost LeBron James, we all know that. Add to that the Kyrie Irving trade from the prior offseason and the Cleveland Cavaliers have lost two of their original Big 3 with Kevin Love, the one with the least allegiance to Cleveland, still in the Land.

However, that’s not the only thing to headline the Cavs offseason. There was an array of moves, all of which is will be detailed below. The one that still confuses fans though is the progress of Rodney Hood’s contract situation.

Hood was reportedly close to signing a three-year contract, and now, the talks have seemingly stalled for the last few weeks.

So, what’s going on there?

While Hood’s signing isn’t imperative to their success, the 25-year-old would help improve the Cavs much-needed playmaking options. Additionally, the market for Hood after the lucrative spending this offseason is quite dry. Cleveland is one of his only options.

That hold up and James’ departure headline the not-mentioned moves that Cleveland made or haven’t made.

With that, let’s dive into the first move, the drafting of point guard phenom Collin Sexton.
