An offer they can’t refuse

There could be simply a deal that’s too good to turn down. When a title contender wants to try to win this coming year, they may be willing to give away some young pieces for a chance to go all in on a championship.

Cleveland, no matter how you slice it, is in a rebuilding stage.

Consequently, if a title contender offers youth in return for Kevin, the Cavs can’t turn down an offer of youth considering that they are building for the future.

To combat the great teams like the Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers, Houston Rockets, the Cavs are hoping that they have enough youth, chemistry and talented players that in three-to-five years then they can be in contention again.

Though Love is the only All-Star on the team and clearly the best player, he is only worth so much at the end of the day. He is at the peak of his career and with a team that allows him to play to his fullest potential and lets his best show.

That being said, there is only so much Love can do for the Cavs. Even with LeBron last year, it showed how well one player can play and still fall short.

Two All-Stars can’t win a championship in this league anymore much less one that is Kevin Love.

He would mean for a championship-contender than he would mean to the Cavs.

With that, the Cavs could leverage the better end of a trade deal if another team is trying to go all-in on a championship.

Promising youth on the Cavs to build for the future is better than one All-Star in his prime.
