Taurean Prince is a legitimate comparison for Cedi Osman next season

Secondary playmaking
Coming into the league play making was a weakness for both of these players however, coming into this season both Osman and Prince have shown improvements into this area of their game. This season will be an opportunity to show this improvement as well as grow.
Last season, after fellow Atlanta Hawk Kent Bazemore was injured, Prince — already a starter at the time — took lots of Bazemore’s responsibilities on the offensive end.
He developed at the end of the season by getting better at making his own shot as well as others. This was all showcased in a March 11th game against the Bulls.
Over the last few weeks of the season Prince showed his ability to be a star in this league by dropping more than 30 points in multiple games to end the year.
This game captures Prince’s ability to create for himself and others as he put up 38 points and 8 assists. This is the kind of performance Cavaliers fans can’t wait to see from Osman this season.
However, Osman has already shown flashes of these kind of performances in summer league as well as while playing for the Turkish National Team, such as this performance against Latvia.
In this performance, Osman doesn’t just create offense as a secondary or tertiary playmaker, he shows that he has the skills to be a star in an offense that revolves around him.
Both of these players, two young and versatile forwards, have shown that with work and a change in role they can become three-and-D stars.
