Cleveland Cavaliers: Two players that need to be traded
By Tony Pesta
The Cleveland Cavaliers are starting to construct the foundations of a solid young team.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have been making moves. Even before the departure of LeBron James, the Cavaliers have been beginning to build for their future. Key assets such as Collin Sexton, Rodney Hood, Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. were added to the team before James even announced his decision.
All of these players will need to set the tone this season. The team is no longer looking to compete for an NBA championship. Instead, they will need to lay down a winning culture while understanding this will be a long process.
The Cavaliers may not be contenders again, and for a long time, but that’s okay. For now, they need to focus on growing a strong core for the future of the team.
It’s important to get the rebuild off to a good start. This means the team will need to create the perfect environment for these prospects to develop.
In order to do this, it’s time to make a few trades. There are a few players on this Cavaliers roster that don’t fit anymore. Their time with the team has run out.
It would be beneficial for the Cavaliers if they traded these players as soon as possible.
