Richard Jefferson

Why not bring Richard Jefferson back?

Jefferson is a beloved member of the 2016 Cavaliers team that won the franchise’s first NBA championship.

The entire city would love for him to return.

Plus, the Cavs have already added his former teammate and longtime friend, Channing Frye.

Much like Frye, Jefferson provides a positive or necessary outlook in every situation. This is something the Cavaliers may need a lot of in the upcoming seasons with young and emotional players. It would be much like the role Jefferson had last season with the Denver Nuggets, playing a key role in helping the Nuggets young core grow.

Jefferson would be a real help to the rebuilding process. His knowledge and experience as an NBA player is invaluable and has played 17 seasons in the NBA for eight different teams.
