Game recap: Cavs defeat Pacers 93-88

Collin Sexton and Cedi Osman continue to impress, and the present and the future is looking promising for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In front of Cavs owner Dan Gilbert, Sexton and Osman continue to put on a show in a win against the Pacers, as the Cleveland Cavaliers move to 2-1 in summer league play.

Osman sat out Saturday night’s game against Chicago, but it looks like sitting him out did not slow him down at all.

Osman’s shot has continued to improve and get better, and you can tell he is taking lessons from Kyle Korver on his shooting.

Exhibit A:

This improvement from Osman should have Cavs fans excited. The improvement from his shooting is clearly showing in two games he has played in summer league. Osman has definitely been working on a lot of things on his game since the end of the season, but it is his shot that has improved the most. It also looks like he has gotten bigger and also stronger.

Osman finished with 25 points, six rebounds, six assists, one steal and block.

As for Sexton, this has been his best game in the summer league to date. He finished with 21 points and four assists.

As each game has gone on in the summer league, his vision on the court has been getting better and better.

The rest of the Cavaliers also played extremely well. Billy Preston, who also did not play on Saturday, played very well today as he finished with 12 points, four rebounds, two steals, one assist and block.

John Holland had eight points, four rebounds, one assists and steal. Vladimir Brodziansky finished with eight points (4/7 from the field) and one rebound. Marcus Lee finished with six points (3/5 from the field) and six rebounds. Lastly, Jordan Stevens finished with five points, two assists, one rebound and one steal.

The Cavs shot 50 percent from the field and 35 percent from three-point range.

The Cavaliers future is looking very bright and Cavs fans should be very exciting for what it is to come.
