
The Cleveland Cavaliers started the post-LeBron James era off with a 72-59 win over the Washington Wizards.
The Summer League is always difficult to evaluate especially for a team that just lost the NBA Finals a few months ago. The SL games are low scoring with generally stagnant offenses. The talent level is closer to the G-League than it is the NBA.
With that said, there are still skills that can translate over to the NBA.
Collin Sexton looked solid in his debut. He finished the evening with 15 points and seven boards.

Ante Zizic had the best stat line in this game. He finished with a team-high in points, rebounds, and assists with 16/14/5. Cedi Osman also had a solid night finishing with 15 points, 10 boards, four steals, and a block.
While it’s foolish to get too wrapped up in Summer League stats, there are some things that can be taken from this game.
