Trade #1

Cavaliers receive: Jaylen Brown, Marcus Morris, 2019 First-Round Draft pick (Memphis Grizzlies)

Celtics receive: Kevin Love, Kyle Korver

The Boston Celtics have every reason to be going all in this season. Now that LeBron James has left the Cleveland Cavaliers, it’s open season in the Eastern Conference. The path to the NBA Finals is wide open.

There is no telling how long the window for success will be open. Therefore, the Celtics should make their move as soon as possible.

More from King James Gospel

The Celtics have an abundance of assets for a rebuilding process. A few years ago, they loaded up on draft picks. Now, they have a number of great young players as well as future draft picks.

Furthermore, they managed to acquire big stars such as Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward, and Al Horford.

In my opinion, the Eastern Conference will be a battle between the Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers. If the Celtics trade away a few of their less important assets in return for another All-Star, it should take them to the next level.

A player like Kevin Love would be more than enough to make them the favorites in the East. Perhaps, they could even challenge the Golden State Warriors.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers would be gaining Jaylen Brown and a 2019 First-Round draft pick that is likely to be a high lottery pick. Brown is an extremely bright young star and the pick could easily turn into a future franchise player. The Cavaliers would also add in Marcus Morris who is a solid role player.

Although, he is mostly in this trade to balance out the salaries.
