1. Clint Capela (Restricted)

Clint Capela is the last free agent that will likely get a max contract. He is restricted so whatever the Cavaliers would be to offer Capela, the Rockets could match. With the Rockets intending on offering a max to Capela, this is a long shot, but he is the last player that you could build a young franchise around.

Clint Capela put up nearly max contract worthy numbers as a center last year with Houston. He averaged 13.9 ppg, 10.8 rpg, and 1.9 bpg while averaging 65% from the field. He was as dominant as they come for a big man in the middle on the offense and defense.

However, Capela is still very weak in everything that doesn’t involve being 10 feet from the rim. He is dismal in free throw shooting, can’t handle the ball, can’t shoot from the perimeter, and does not stretch the court.

The Cavaliers, who are looking to rebuild, could structure it off of this 6-foot-10, 24-year-old center, but it is not likely that the Rockets let him out of their grasp.
