ORLANDO, FL – JANUARY 6: Cedi Osman /

Player 8: Cedi Osman

This is a guy I have been waiting to talk about.

Believe it or not, I am very high on Cedi Osmans NBA stock. This is a guy who I think could really become a solid NBA talent.

In his first season with the Cavaliers, he displayed some important intangibles. This kid showed a true eagerness on the court. It was clear he wanted to win more than some of the other players and he was ready to work for everything.

There was never a question about Osman’s effort or enthusiasm. When someone made a big-time play, guess who would be the first player ready to celebrate?

Osman is a player who completely bought into the culture. Just look at his highlights from his most recent game with the Turkis National Basketball team. It’s so obvious that Osman has been in the gym taking notes on Kyle Korver‘s shooting form.

This is why he is so important to this teams rebuild. He brings the energy and work ethic that the Cavaliers need. Much like the previous players, I don’t expect Osman to become a superstar. But he has all the tools needed to be a good NBA player. I want Osman on my team.
