The NBA free agency madness officially began on July 1st. What does that mean for the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James?

The end of all days may be near in Cleveland. It appears that the likeliness of LeBron James leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers is rapidly increasing. Numerous reports state that James is leaning towards signing with the Los Angeles Lakers.

If these reports are true, what should Cleveland do? How will the Cavaliers respond to the devastating loss of James?

It is certain that the team’s chances of winning an NBA championship would fly out the window. The culture in Cleveland would drastically change. Instead of coasting to the NBA Finals, we’d likely be struggling to make the playoffs. Furthermore, the odds of a superstar player wanting to join the team would be slim to none.

Luckily, the Cavaliers still have 14 other players on this roster. The Cavaliers will be forced to get creative during this offseason. Each player on this roster is still valuable in some way. It may be time to hit the trading block and see what we can get in return.
