No. 19: Wilson Chandler

Just like Austin Rivers, Wilson Chandler would have to turn down a much larger payday to come to Cleveland. He’s currently set to make $12.8 million if he opts into his contract.

The ten-year veteran had one of the potentially many down years last season. He averaged just 10.0 points per game, down over five points from the season prior. Chandler has been given less responsibility as Will Barton, Jamal Murray, Gary Harris and Nikola Jokic have started to get a better feel for the NBA.

Chandler would be a phenomenal pickup for the Cavaliers. He’s a gritty defender and can be a solid scoring option if given the chance. At 31, Chandler’s productive seasons are numbered, and if he wants to compete for a title, he’ll have to make a move soon.

This could be his move, but it seems more and more unlikely that he’d turn down his $12.8 million on what looks to be a very team-friendly free agency.
