LeBron James dialed back his social media outlets and went back to his good old St. Vincent-St. Mary’s days. Should that worry Cavs fans?

The Decision Part III should be a holiday for people in Cleveland. LeBron James deciding his own fate for yet another NBA season has the entire city and league on edge.

Where will he go? What clues is he handing out? How important are his kids and wife compared to the importance of winning?

Fans and analysts rattle through those questions in their mind. For fans, the whole situation is still a mystery. However, it’s really starting to boil down to four options.

That said, James latest changes on both of his ginormous social media platforms, Facebook and Twitter, have fans worried about what’s next. James went from photos of him relating directly to the Cavaliers to photos of him back in high school, playing for his nationally recognized school, SVSM.

The changes he made were the same two photos for both accounts.

His profile picture, which he used for Instagram as well, is him at what looks to be the free throw line in high school getting ready to shoot, another flashback to his high school days. The second of the photos, which he used for his header photo, is a collage of him both young and old showing support for his high school.

So, let’s get exactly what we know about this situation.

More from King James Gospel

James is in the midst of a league-altering decision dubbed the Decision Part III. Instead of leaving his socials on his photos representing the Cavaliers organization, he changes them to rep his beloved high school team.

Intriguing, right?

There’s really two schools of thought here.

One is that he changed these to show his love and dedicated for Cleveland, the city. James has done so much both on and off the court for Cleveland, so allowing his socials to represent them could be a sign of loyalty, loyalty to not only his team but his city.

The second is that this change is distancing him from the organization. The Cavs have yet really do anything to close the gap between them and Golden State. I mean, even dating back to last season, they failed to trade the pick for a big name and might again commit the same mistake this summer.

In the second ideology, LeBron James changes his photos to remind Cleveland that he loves them, that he’s there for them. Yet, he does this to say something like, “Cleveland, I’m here for you, but I must continue my legacy elsewhere.”

There are those two options and then the third and reasonable option is this means absolutely nothing. It’s social media, not life. He hasn’t told any insider anything and has reportedly not wanted to be given these exquisite sales pitches.
