7 players the Cleveland Cavaliers should trade the No. 8 pick for
Damian Lillard
Damian Lillard is another star that might command more than just the No.8 pick.
Damian Lillard’s value has been a question mark, especially with the lack of urgency shown in Portland. Lillard wants to win now, and Cleveland could give him that.

Over the last three seasons, Lillard has continued to average over 25 points per game, reaching 27.0 points per game last season. He’s also elevated his three-point shot. Making 3.1 per game, Lillard has done a fantastic job of leading Portland to the playoffs the last five seasons.
The only problem is that when in the playoffs Lillard can’t find the touch. He’s been the undisputed leader of the Trail Blazers who have been bounced in their the first or second round for the last five straight seasons.
Lillard is a winner though. He just needs the right team.
However, while a superstar, Lillard might not be worth the Cavaliers No. 8 pick and Kevin Love. Cleveland would make a phenomenal fit for Lillard, but as a franchise in flux, they might be able to offer him the stability and long-term winning he desires.
Lillard is just too valuable to Portland and would require too much in return. The thought of Lillard is Cleveland is one to continue to dream though.
