Throughout his 15 year career, LeBron James has seen many opponents attempt to take him down.

The NBA has rarely seen a player as dominant as LeBron James.

In nearly every season he has played, James has been at the forefront of the league. Consequently, this means there have been players gunning for his spot since his rookie year.

Many players have attempted to slow him down. James has seen nearly every type of defense be thrown at him. However, some players have had more success than others.

The term “LeBron Stopper” has been used to describe a number of different players throughout the years. These players all acquired the nickname after giving James a tough time in the NBA Playoffs. They could have either worked James on the offensive end or locked him down on the defensive end.

Either way, they somehow became known as LeBron’s kryptonite.

Today, we are going to look at some of the players that have earned the “LeBron Stopper” title. Let’s look at each one of the most notorious opponents in LeBron’s career and compare them. We will break down how each player became known as a “LeBron Stopper”.  Also, we will look at how LeBron responded to this matchup.

We will only be counting playoff opponents.
