Another superstar that can’t seem to escape the trade rumors is Damian Lillard. Perhaps the most underrated player in the league, Damian Lillard only recently received the credit he more than deserves, by being selected to the All-NBA First Team.

But it does seem that the Oakland-raised point guard is unhappy with the current state of his team.

To be honest, the Portland Trail Blazers could be the most confused team in the NBA. They are not competing for the championship. They are not rebuilding. They are doing both simultaneously and neither as a result. So you can’t blame Damian Lillard for wanting to take his prime self to a team where he could win it all.

By offering them a star in Kevin Love and a promising young player to be chosen by the in the NBA Draft, it is hard to imagine that the Trail Blazers will turn the offer down to keep doing the same thing over and over again.

One thing is certain, though. By acquiring Damian Lillard who is a true superstar, the chances of LeBron leaving become slim to none.
