Trade #3

Cleveland Cavaliers receive: Kemba Walker

Charlotte Hornets receive: 8th pick, Cedi Osman

Another big name currently on the chopping block is Kemba Walker of the Charlotte Hornets.

The 28-year old point guard has been looking for a new home for the past couple of years, and the team from Ohio could offer him one. Kemba has proved to be a leader on this weak Hornets team, but he does need some help.

During the past couple of years, Walker is quietly and steadily improving, having already reached All-Star level, as he has been selected both times during the past couple of years. Averaging about 22 points per game along with 6 assists per game, Kemba has everything a modern-day point guard should have, causing havoc on opposing defenses.

What do the Cavs have to offer?

A truly valuable 8th pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, which the Hornets could use to acquire a promising point guard to pair up with Malik Monk and shape up their backcourt for the future. The Cleveland Cavaliers might have to throw in Cedi Osman to sweeten the deal, were the Charlotte Hornets to decline the initial offer.
