The 2017-18 NBA season is finally over, and the Cleveland Cavaliers were swept in the 2018 NBA Finals.
This season sure had its ups and downs. A season that pretty much summed up Kevin Love’s career on the Cleveland Cavaliers. From the day he joined the team, it has been a never-ending roller coaster ride.
Love has been inconsistent, to say the least. This is largely due to the huge adjustments Love has had to make to his game in the last four years.
He went from being a post-oriented player in Minnesota to a catch and shoot deadeye in Cleveland.
Love began his career as the first option on a lottery team. Then, he was forced to be a third option on a championship winning team. Lastly, he became LeBron’s second-hand man after the departure of Kyrie Irving.
With all things considered, Love has been pretty good in Cleveland. For his career as a Cavalier, Love averages 17.1 points and 10.0 rebounds per game.
If Love played for any other team, a double-double every night might be good enough to satisfy expectations. But playing for a team who just lost their third NBA Finals in four years, it may be time for a change.
So, let’s take a look at a few trade proposals. Kevin Love is still an all-star caliber player and his trade value is still high.
*These trades are assuming that LeBron James will remain in Cleveland.
