The Cavs are facing adversity again.

Cleveland did a great job of responding to adversity throughout the game. They took some haymakers from the Warriors, but they always responded with one of their own, in regulation at least. Now we’ll see how they respond to this one.

This playoffs have shown us that winning Game 1 doesn’t guarantee you anything. The Cavs have already bounced back to win the series after losing Game 1 twice before, but they didn’t lose either of those other two games like this. This can go two separate ways, the Cavs could roll over and die like the Raptors did after blowing Game 1 earlier this year, or they can come out fighting like they did earlier this postseason.

Nothing has come easy for the Cavs all year, so naturally this wouldn’t either. LeBron has never won a Game 1 in a Finals series that he’s won. We’ll see if he and his team can bounce back once again on Sunday night.
