ST LOUIS, MO – MARCH 08: Michael Porter Jr /

Michael Porter Jr.. 4. player. 211. . Small Forward. University of Missouri

With an all-star point guard and a former all-star center, the Memphis Grizzlies are one star away from competing again. That star is Michael Porter Jr.

Porter’s collegiate career wasn’t what many expected it to be. A back injury kept him out the majority of the season, and in his three games played, Porter averaged just 10.0 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per game.

However, at 6-foot-10, Porter’s height gives him a chance to be the next Kevin Durant. His athleticism, size, and skillset combine to make him one of the most intriguing players of the draft. But, can the Grizzlies develop him into the player he could be?

Porter’s efficiency and shot selection could also be an issue, shooting just 33% in those three collegiate games.

Porter Jr., just like all eight of the top picks, could be the draft’s best player, and he’ll certainly be the Grizzlies best fit.
