2018 NBA Mock Draft 2.0: Cleveland Cavaliers select Wendell Carter Jr.
Jaren Jackson Jr. is not the flashiest prospect in the draft, but he could very well be one of the draft’s most dynamic players. He can shoot, rebound, and should be able to defend the 1-5. Jackson’s versatility is what makes him such a coveted prospect.
Scoring 10.9 points per game, Jackson helped headline a stacked Michigan State Spartans team that will feature at least two lottery picks. Surprisingly, Jackson stands 6-foot-11 and recorded 3.0 blocks per game during his lone freshman season.
For Dallas, at this point, they’ll be drafting the best non-point guard player available. They have Dennis Smith Jr. running the show so adding a big like Jackson, Bamba or Carter Jr. would help relieve some of the pressure from DSJ.
