Wendell Carter Jr. . 8. player. 156. . Center. University of Duke

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Wendell Carter Jr. seem like the perfect match; however, this will only be happening if the Magic draft Trae Young with the No. 6 overall pick. If not, I’d fully anticipate Cleveland taking Young here.

At 6-foot-10, Carter separates himself from the field with a consistent jumper from both within and beyond the three-point line. Along with stellar defense, averaging 2.1 blocks per game, Carter Jr. would be able to make his presence known defensively too.

At 50% from the field and 40% from deep, Carter Jr. has displayed an NBA-ready jump shot. That said, it’d be ideal to spread the floor with James, Korver, Carter, Love, and Hill. Carter Jr. and Love are the ideal frontcourts for a team featuring LeBron James.

With size, shooting, and defense, Carter Jr. is the quintessential target for Cleveland.
