86. . Shooting Guard. University of Creighton. Khyri Thomas. 20. player

Khyri Thomas is a developed wing from the University of Creighton. The jury seems to still be out on Thomas even though he showcased all the attributes of a star during his final junior season.

Thomas averaged 15.1 points per game and drained 1.9 threes per game. To add to that, Thomas proved to be a reliable defender, securing 1.7 steals per game. The only knock on Thomas is that, at 6-foot-3, he is somewhat undersized.

It’ll be difficult to make Thomas transition into a point guard, and team’s might shy away from drafting him with several players over 6-foot-6 still on the board.

The Timberwolves, who have Jamal Crawford not returning, could use a scoring combo guard to man their second unit. Khyri Thomas should be their guy.

Is Thomas crafty enough and skilled enough to be a star in the NBA? Yes. But, will his size permit that?
