24. . Small Forward. University of Cincinnati. Jacob Evans. 22. player

Jacob Evans will not be a star in the NBA, but he will be a guy that you want on your team.

He’s a gritty, hard-nosed defender that can defend the 1-4. His size at 6-foot-6, 210 pounds will be ideal for any team looking for a defensive-minded forward.

Offensively, Evans shot 37.7% from downtown throughout his three years at the University of Cincinnati. He averaged just 13.0 points per game his final junior season. Evans, who scored double figures in his first combine scrimmage, should be able to score adequately at the NBA level.

However, Evans played on an offensively-challenged team that relied on grit and hustle to win games. Obviously, it worked as UC won the AAC regular season and conference titles.

The Bulls have a nice young core that could use the energy and mindset that Evans would bring. He’s certainly worthy of a mid-first-round pick. Besides his low ceiling, there isn’t much to not like about Evans.

Jacob Evans reminds me of a more athletic Jae Crowder.
