The Cleveland Cavaliers will head to Boston for Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

In recent years, the road to the NBA Finals has been smooth for LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, this season, it has been far from easy for the Cavaliers.

After already facing elimination in the first round, the Cavaliers once again have their backs to the wall. They will play Game 7 in Boston, where the Celtics have a perfect 10-0 postseason record.

To make things worse, Kevin Love will not be available to play. Love is recovering from a concussion that he suffered during Game 6.

This series has been truly strange.

The home team has won every single game in dominant fashion. It honestly seems like we are watching two different teams every time the home floor switches. LeBron James is the only player who has remained consistently great throughout this series.

Because of this, James will be asked to carry the load once again for the Cavaliers.

More from King James Gospel

When looking at the big picture, this may be the toughest Game 7 of LeBron James’ career. Take into account the fact that Boston has been unbeatable at home and the fact that the Cavaliers role players have played poorly on the road.

Now add in the absence of Kevin Love.

Lastly, look at the toll this season has taken on James. While he still looks better than ever, it is clear that he is becoming fatigued. All of these things add up to make it one of the most difficult games of James’ career.

However, James is no stranger to tough game sevens.

In the 2016 NBA Finals, James had a 27 point triple-double in game seven to win the championship. He did this against the Golden State Warriors, the greatest regular season team of all time. Including the playoffs, the Warriors had a record of 85-3 at home that season.

James led his team to an NBA championship in the toughest arena the league has seen in recent years.

James also averages an NBA record 34.9 points per game in game sevens. Because of this, I wouldn’t doubt LeBron James ability to win on Sunday night.
