The Cleveland Cavaliers lived to fight another day with a 109-99 win over the Boston Celtics in Game 6.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are now one win away from their fourth straight trip to the NBA Finals.
This rollercoaster season took a couple more unpredictable turns in the win. The Cavs fell behind early and lost their all-star forward just four minutes in the game. Kevin Love left the game with concussion-like symptoms early.
But, the Cavs were able to get back into the game thanks to a big comeback from LeBron James and a bench crew. The Cavs took the lead in the second quarter and never looked back.
LeBron put together another historical performance in an elimination game. He finished the night with 46 points on five of seven shooting from deep. James also added in 11 rebounds, nine assists, three steals, and a block. LeBron is now averaging an all-time record of 36.5 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 7.4 assists in elimination games.
LeBron always says the greatest two words in sports are Game 7. We got one of those with a trip to the NBA Finals on the line Sunday night.
Here’s what we learned from this one.
