The Cavs can’t win if they aren’t making threes.

You never know which Cavs team you’re going to get from night to night, but one thing you can count on is their three-point shooting largely determining their result in the playoffs.

Cleveland shot just 26.5 percent from distance in Game 5 and it cost them once again. With the loss, the Cavaliers are 9-0 in the playoffs when they shoot 34.0 percent or better from three and 1-6 when they shoot under that mark.

The three-point shooting has and will continue to be the best indicator of how the Cavs will perform during the postseason. If the Cavs do comeback this series, there’s a good chance it’s because they found their three-point shot again.
