Andre Miller. 10. player. 156. . Point Guard. University of Utah

The Cavaliers drafted Andre Miller with the 8th pick in the 1999 NBA Draft.

While Andre Miller’s career is defined by his time in Denver or Philadelphia, he was actually drafted and played the first three years in Cleveland. Miller’s three years in Cleveland were arguably his best as a professional.

In his last season in Cleveland before heading out West to join the Los Angeles Clippers, Miller averaged 16.5 points and a league-best 10.9 assists per game. Miller, who played 16 seasons in the NBA, scored over 10 points per 36 minutes in all 16 season, a phenomenal stat to have backing your career.

Miller ended his Cavaliers career ranked eighth in all-time assists for the franchise. However, even though Miller was able to dime it up, he failed to lead the Cavaliers to the postseason. He failed to even win more than 32 games in a season with Cleveland. He was a great point guard but not necessarily a great winner.

Overall, Miller was great and had a fantastic career, but he didn’t bring Cleveland what they craved. However, in just a few short seasons, Cleveland would get the prodigy they desperately longed for.
