King James. The Prodigy. The GOAT. Whatever you call LeBron James, he is easily the Cavs best selection in team history. As the No. 1 pick in the 2003 NBA Draft, James ushered in a new era of Cleveland basketball.

James is in the midst of taking Cleveland to its fourth straight NBA Finals. Even if he leaves this offseason, James will go down as the franchise’s leader in minutes, points, assists, steals, and three-pointers made. James won two of his four MVP awards as a Cavalier and should have easily had several more.

Outside of his insane buzzer beaters and unhuman dunks, James will also be remembered for returning to his hometown (or close enough) and winning a title, ending the city’s 52-year championship drought.

On the court, James could do it all. He currently averages 27.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 7.2 assists throughout his illustrious 11-year Cavalier career. James, who was one of the most talked about rookies to ever come into the league, fulfilled the hype.

James’ return to Cleveland and coming back from a 3-1 deficit to make history was the quintessential way to round out James’ legacy.
