Kyrie Irving, the deliverer of championships, was drafted with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2011 NBA Finals. While he tarnished his reputation in Cleveland by demanding a trade and later being traded to Boston, Irving did help bring the Land their first title with his step back over unanimous MVP Stephen Curry.

Without Irving’s superstardom, James might not have been able to come home and win a title in Cleveland. Irving brought Cleveland out of the dark days and reigned in LeBron’s second tenure.

Uncle Drew, Kyrie Irving’s most popular nickname, played in Cleveland for six seasons and was a three-time all-star during those seasons. He ended his Cavaliers career averaging 21.6 points per game and 5.6 assists per game.

Irving played less than 14,000 minutes in Cleveland, yet he finished top-10 in points, assists, and steals in team history. He is one of the best point guards in the NBA and, if he had stayed in Cleveland, could have gone down as a Cavalier legend.

Irving helped end Cleveland’s championship drought. That and his on-court domination are why he ended up in the top-three.
