Cleveland Cavaliers: Top 15 draft picks in franchise history
Terrell Brandon, who was selected with the 11th pick in the 1991 NBA Draft, played six seasons in Cleveland, earning his only two all-star appearances during his last two years in the Land.
Brandon, during his rookie season, was a rotational player for the Cavaliers best team until the coming of LeBron James. That team, just like many of Brandon’s other Cavalier teams, lost to Michael Jordan and his Bulls during their historical run through the early 1990s.
Brandon is one of just nine Cavaliers to be awarded multiple all-star appearances. He finished No. 12 in points, No. 4 in assists, No. 5 in steals along with receiving the organizations only sportsmanship award.
Overall, the Cavaliers cut Brandon’s career short and stopped him from being an all-time Cavalier legend. After his two all-star seasons, they traded him for Shawn Kemp, the SuperSonic legend who had just three impactful seasons in Cleveland.
If Brandon hadn’t been traded, he could have easily gone down as the best Cavalier point guard of all-time. However, the owner of that title is just a few ranks away.
