#1. Game five versus the Indiana Pacers (2018)

Clutchness: 10/10

Difficulty: 10/10

Overall performance: 10/10

Average score: 10/10

Maybe it’s recency bias, but this shot is the greatest game-winning shot LeBron James has ever made. With only three seconds remaining, James caught the ball and took an extremely difficult fadeaway three from the top of the key.

This shot was the icing on top for James incredible night. James had 44 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, and shot 58% from the floor.

With this shot, the Cavaliers took a 3-2 lead in a series that could have gone either way. Since the series went on to go to seven games, it’s clear that this shot was enormously impactful on the outcome of the series.

This night was the definition of perfection for LeBron James. Not only was the shot perfect, but everything that happened before was too. Directly before James nailed the final shot, he had the game-saving block as well. James proved that he is capable of doing things that no other player in NBA history could do.
