#2. Game two versus the Orlando Magic (2009)

Clutchness: 10/10

Difficulty: 10/10

Overall performance: 8/10

Average score: 9.3/10

One of the classic moment in the career of LeBron James.

The Cavaliers were trailing the series 1-0 after dropping Game 1 at home. Then, Hedo Turkoglu nailed a contested mid-range pullup to give the Orlando Magic a two-point lead in Game 2. Now, with only one second remaining, the Cavaliers faced their impending doom.

The Cavaliers called timeout and advanced the ball to midcourt to give themselves one final gasp at saving this game. LeBron James shot out from the free throw line and caught the ball at the top of the three-point arc. James immediately went up with a fadeaway shot over Turkoglu. The ball swished through the hoop and then we got the iconic celebration of James and his teammates going wild on the other side of the court.

This shot was arguably the most clutch game-winner James has ever hit. The degree of difficulty was high and his performance in the game was superb as well (35 points). Unfortunately, the Cavaliers would go on to lose this series in six games. That makes this game-winner feel tainted when looking back through history.

That is why this shot falls to second place in his all-time rankings.
