Kevin Love. 9. player. 156.

4 seasons with Cavaliers (2014-current)

Averaging 17.1 points and 10 rebounds per game

2x All-Star, 1x NBA Champion with Cavs

. PF/C.

Admittedly, there may be some controversy with slotting the much-maligned Kevin Love this high on the list of the best-ever Cavaliers.

But, then again, he’s also the first player to appear on the list to be named to multiple All-Star teams as a member of the Cavs, and he’s only the second so far that wears a championship ring. He’s averaged a double-double over four seasons in Cleveland, and only some durability issues and an ever-evolving offensive role have kept him from easily cracking the top-five.

Love has missed 37 out of 328 possible regular season games and was injured in an odd way back in 2014 and missed all but four playoff games that season. When healthy, however, Love has been an All-Star-caliber player at both power forward (2016-17) and center (2017-18).

Love remains a solid team defender and effective offensive player (he shot 41.5 percent from beyond the arc in 2017-18, the second-best mark in his career), it remains to be seen what happens with the four-time All-Star moving forward. There are two years on Love’s contract, but LeBron James could choose to walk away as soon as the summer of 2018.
