World B. Free was a career 20.3 point-per-game scorer, notching eight seasons with per-game averaged north of 20, including all three-plus seasons he spent in a Cavaliers uniform.
Free played for Philadelphia, San Diego, and Golden State before heading to Cleveland during the 1982-83 campaign, which was his age-29 season.
Free made his only All-Star team with San Diego back in 1979-80, but was the leading scorer on the 1984-85 squad that made the playoffs with a 36-46 record before being defeated in the first round of the playoffs by Boston.
He left Cleveland after averaging 23.4 points per game during the 1985-86 season and signed with Philadelphia as a free agent, but averaged just 6.3 points per contest over the last two seasons of his career between the 76ers and the Rockets.
